What materials will you provide parents with?
As a literacy coach for parents, besides the weekly meetings, I provide parents with videos, guides, and materials to help support their child on their reading journey.

What grades do you work with?
I work with students in grades K-5.

My child has a learning disability. Would you be able to work with him?
It depends. I am qualified to work with students who have a 504 plan but if they have an IEP I would reccomend working with an ESE teacher. I would need to discuss this further to get more information.

Do you provide all materials?
Yes! All materials are provided.

What is the duration for each session? How many sessions should my child have per week?
For students in grades K-2, I recommend 30 minutes, or maximum 45 minutes. For students in grades 3-5, I recommend 45 minutes.
Minimum session requirement is twice per week.

What type of curriculum will be used?
Built on science and research, the curriculum is a systematic and structured Orton-Gillingham based approach. There are different levels of intervention to meet each student where he or she is at in the scope and sequence. The curriculum also provides built in progress monitoring assessments.
